1 – We lay down dust sheets over carpets, cabinets, tables etc in any area that we are working on to ensure that we do not damage any of your property and we do not cover everything in any plaster or brick dust.

2 – Before we actually begin any work, we go through a step by step process of what is involved with you so that you are fully aware of what we will be doing and why.

3 – We will drain down your existing heating system.

4 – We will turn of the gas supply to the house to ensure that there are no gas leaks.

5 – We will remove and dispose of your current boiler system and any relevant pipework that is not longer required.

6 – We will fit the new boiler that you have chosen to the location that we have agreed upon and connect up the water and gas pipework.

7 – We will fit a connecting flue system to your boiler. This is the exhaust for the boiler. Your existing boiler may already have a flu so depending on its position, we may be able to replace this like for like (it depends on the existing boiler set up and the current legislations that stipulate new boiler installs flue positioning).

8 – We will add an inhibitor to your heating system and then pressurise the system with water.

9 – We will conduct a test to ensure that the new fittings are supplying gas and that there are no gas leaks.

10 – We will conduct a series of tests on your new boiler system

11 – Once we have fitted and tested the new boiler for you, we will clean up any mess, remove any dust protective sheets and dispose of any material left over from the install.

12 – Training Session. This is a fancy way of saying we will show you how to use the boiler and the thermostat. Having a new boiler installed is one thing – knowing how to work it on those cold Glasgow nights is another. We want to make sure that you know how to keep toasty warm at winter with your boiler.

13 – Once everything has been finished off, we will provide a gas safety inspection document and boiler guarantee.
